Nick Jonas has debuted his latest single.

The singer is due to release the track 'Levels' as his first cut since unleashing his self-titled debut album last year.

Today (August 21) the tune was unveiled online.

It features lyrics such as 'I know, we can get higher/There’s levels to your love'.

The US star will perform the tune for the first time at a VMAs pre-show event on August 30 in California.

Jonas meanwhile has cancelled his slot at this weekend's V Festival due to "unforeseen circumstances".

He has been replaced on the bill by Jack Savoretti.

The festival is taking place over August 22 and August 23 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
