Nick Jonas says having brothers helped him prepare for new film role

Singer and actor Nick Jonas has opened up about his role in the new film 'Goat', which sees him portray a member of a fraternity whose brother undergoes a shocking hazing ritual.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter at the Berlin Film Festival, he admitted that growing up with two brothers - namely Kevin and Joe Jonas - helped him to connect with the role in a realistic way:

"Any time you grow up with siblings close in age, as we were, there's that sense of fraternity life as such. Plus we worked together for so long and spent a lot of time of impressionable lives together (sic). There's definitely a training ground there."

The 'Chains' heartthrob went onto add that he also visited college bars to prepare for the film, but he ended up having more fun than he was supposed to:

"I went out to a college bar and had a really unique experience that I can't really remember, but I know I didn't do anything too stupid. I just had too may shots of tequila, which became a good training ground for the movie as well, I think."
