Nick Jonas: 'Acting has become a major priority for me'

'Chains' heartthrob Nick Jonas has revealed that his passion for being in front of the camera has pushed him to pursue more acting roles this year

The star talked to OK! magazine about his love of acting and also opened up about his forthcoming new movie, 'Goat', in which he plays a member of a fraternity whose brother undergoes a shocking hazing ritual.

Speaking about being on screen, Jonas explained: "Acting has become a major priority for me. (Goat is about) this idea of brotherhood and masculinity. The desire to feel accepted by these young men — and the lengths they’re willing to go to.”

Back in February, the hitmaker told The Hollywood Reporter that growing up alongside his two brothers, Joe and Kevin, actually helped him to prepare for the role:

"Any time you grow up with siblings close in age, as we were, there's that sense of fraternity life as such. Plus we worked together for so long and spent a lot of time of impressionable lives together (sic). There's definitely a training ground there."
