Nick Jonas: 'It's scary to think you can fall behind if you don't evolve'

Singer Nick Jonas has revealed that as an artist in this generation, it's vital that you're able to evolve and tweak your sound accordingly otherwise you run the risk of becoming irrelevant.

The 'Chains' hitmaker spoke to Topman magazine about how to stay successful and confessed that it's important to be willing to change and adapt with the times:

"Everything has to evolve, and the world never stops turning. So you have to be aware of the fact that as a creative person, it’s important to stay as close to the cutting edge as you can, because you can fall behind, which is scary."

He went onto add that coming up with new ways to get people interested in the music he releases is a challenge, but an exciting one:

“It’s important to be creative in how you give your fans and people that aren’t familiar with the music access, because they’re not all just going to buy it or stream it. I’m not counting out that I would never do that (drop an album on celebrity owned streaming site Tidal) - I might - but I feel like it’s worked for them.”
