Nick Jonas talks about how we can achieve a hunger free world

Singer Nick Jonas has opened up about how we can achieve a hunger free world in an interview with MSNBC.

The "Chains" hitmaker told Global Citizen that as a diabetic, he is very aware of the importance of nutrition and hopes that more awareness is raised in countries that need it:

"I'm a diabetic - I'm a type 1 diabetic so food and nutrition is incredibly important to me and understanding that we're all affected by that in some way. There are so many great organisations to get involved with."

"There are so many layers to it and my doctor, Francine Kauffman, regularly goes and does work in places where there's real need for good food - nutritional food - because the supplies they need for insulin is really not there. Starting with the food and building from there is key."
