Normani has revealed that her debut solo album's release is extremely close.

Answering the following tweet from @notersleftocry: "where is the album WE NEED THE DAMN ALBUM", Normani tweeted: "she's coming", then thanked her fans for "being patient".

So far, Normani's solo career has florished since Fifth Harmony announced their hiatus on March 19. 

Her Love Lies collaboration with Khalid sold more than one million copies globally and went straight into the UK Top 20. The track also surpassed 200 million Spotify streams by May.

Speaking on Beats 1 about her debut album earlier this year she said:"Honestly, I feel like I’ve experienced a lot in the last six years, so I feel like just getting all of that out. Whatever comes to mind, whatever I’m going through at the moment, I just want this to be an album that completely represents who Normani is. And for some people, it may be the first time."

About her musical direction, Normani told Billboard in May: "I just want to take it back to the music I fell in love with, and what made me fall in love with music for the first time. I grew up with my grandmother driving me to school and my mother listening to '90s music."
