Love Lies by Normani and Khalid has gone from strength to strength since its release on Valentine's Day (February 14) this year.

It has now reached almost 60 million YouTube streams, almost 350,000,000 plays on Spotify and 2 million Shazam plays.

The RCA single reached RIAA Gold Certification on April 4 this year, and is on its way to reach Platinum Certification, meaning it would have sold more than one million units. 

It has already reached Triple Platinum in Australia (ARIA) with 210,000 sales, Gold in Canada with 40,000 sales, Gold in Denmark with 45,000 sales, Platinum in New Zealand with 30,000 sales and Gold in the UK (BPI) with 400,000 sales.

Love Lies leapt from No. 47 to No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated June 2), after Normani and Khalid performed the song on the Billboard Music Awards on May 20, earning Normani her first top 40 hit as a solo artist.

According to Nielsen Music, their performance gave the song a boost of 14.2 million US streams (up 9%) and 13,000 downloads sold (up 72%) in the week ending May 24.
