Tipped by the media as the next big thing, we are very excited to introduce you to singer/ songwriter – Kris James.

Distributed through Universal Music UK and produced by the legendary John Fields, who is best known for his work with Nick Jonas, Lawson and Miley Cyrus; Kris’s self-penned debut solo track ‘Eyes Open’ will be available to pre-order from the 1st June 2018, and officially released by all major outlets on the July 6th.

‘Eyes Open’ was originally written in America with Kris’s former band in the Autumn of 2017. The initial intention of the single was to empower those in a bad situation and to open their eyes to the truth. The music video features CBBC actor Richard Wisker and tells a story of a destructive relationship.

Kris describes the inspiration behind the track: “At the end of the day we are all human beings and we all argue with everybody else, but I wanted to document this and make it aware that the abuse can come from either side, the female or the male.”

With incredible floor filler remixes of ‘Eyes Open’ by the likes of WideBoyz (Example and Lorde), WestFunk (Jason Derulo and Charlie XCX), Cutmore (Little Mix and Olly Murs) - Kris is on course to be the act that everyone will be talking about this summer.
