OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Eminem extends his reign at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart this week with his latest collection Kamikaze.

The rapper's tenth studio album was this week's most downloaded and streamed record, with 51% of its sales total coming from streams.

Last week Kamikaze earned Eminem the record-breaking title of having the most consecutive chart-topping albums in UK chart history, with his last nine records all landing at the top.

This week's highest new entry goes to Paul McCartney, whose 18th solo album Egypt Station debuts at Number 3 and was the week's best-selling record in physical formats.
New entries and high climbers

Two more albums debut inside the Top 10: T-Rex box set Gold opens at Number 8, and Paul Simon's In The Blue Light - a collection of re-recordings of select lesser-known songs from his catalogue - lands at 10. Space rockers Spiritualized just miss out on their first Top 10 collection in 17 years with new album And Nothing Hurt at 11.

Maryland rock band Clutch are new at 13 with Book Of Bad Decisions - their highest charting record in the UK to date - and following his death last week, Mac Miller's latest album Swimming re-enters at 17. It's a new peak for the album, which opened at 37 on its release last month.

Live At The Royal Album Hall orchestral album by Alter Bridge is new at Number 18, and Lenny Kravitz's 11th album Raise Vibration opens at 19 - his first Top 20 studio album in 20 years, since 1998's 5.

Further down, Maribou State's Kingdoms In Colour, Paul Carrack's These Days (33), Led Zeppelin's 1976 live album The Song Remains The Same (38) Teleman's Family Of Aliens (40) all earn a Top 40 debut this week.
