Following closely on from recent single ‘Masters’, Toronto based royalty Charlie Noiir picks up the pace returning just weeks later with second 2022 single, the unguarded and intimate ‘Beside Me’. Peeling back the layers, Noiir showcases his true versatility as he takes it down, unearthing deeper levels of authenticity underlined with complete artistic prowess.

With a soft and soulful entrance, ‘Beside Me’ eases the listener into Noiirs vulnerability. Directly speaking, Noiir begins with a heartfelt confession “I just really need to say what's on my mind for once” setting the tone for what is to come, an ode to the tumultuous nature of romance and relationships.

Not to be confused with a traditional love song, ‘Beside Me’ stands as a passionate war cry fuelled by devotion and intimacy. Produced by longtime collaborator and On My Sleeve’s co-executive producer Zepfire ‘Beside Me’ depicts the often relentless tug of war of and endless trials that relationships face. Despite the difficulties detailed within ‘Beside Me’ the underlying tone is that of determination, absolute certainty and utter resilience that regardless of the insecurities, Noiir defiantly declares “You know your place is right Beside Me”.

With traditional Rhythm and Blues elements, accented by the tender subject matter, ‘Beside Me’ is a homage to the classic 90’s R&B era and a subtle nod to the greats, all whilst radiating Noiirs unique sound and style.

Traversing the many spectrums of genre within the realms of R&B, Soul and Hip Hop, Noiirs music is untethered, unconfined and boundless.
