One Direction given a year of free taxi rides from Addison Lee

British boy band One Direction have all been given a year’s worth of free taxis from the company Addison Lee.

The cab firm are mentioned in One Direction’s current single ‘Midnight Memories’ as Louis Tomlinson sings the lines:

“Tell me that I'm wrong but I do what I please / Way too many people in the Addison Lee”.

An Addison Lee-branded car also appears in the 'Midnight Memories' video (see image below).

Following the use of the company’s name in the lyrics, Louis tweeted:

“Surely we get some kind of @AddisonLeeCabs gold card for the name drop haha !!??”

Better than a “gold card”, The Sun have reported that Addison Lee have gifted the group with complimentary use of their services for a whole year after the name drop in their music.

One member of the band who may have less use for taxis is Liam Payne after he passed his driving test earlier this month.
