One Direction star Zayn Malik has seemingly entered the studio with Naughty Boy and Emeli Sandé.

The collaboration was confirmed by the 'La La La' producer on Twitter on Tuesday night (March 18).

He wrote: "Sick studio vibes with @emelisande & @zaynmalik - forget what you think you know. #doitanyway."

It is unclear what project the team-up was for or whether all three musicians were working on the same tracks.

One Direction meanwhile are expected to release their fourth album later this year.

They are also due to tour the worldwide in their Where We Are stadium jaunt.
