One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne has hit out at his online critics who recently targeted him for supposedly gaining a few pounds. 

The 'Story Of My Life' heartthrob took to his official Twitter page earlier this week to slam the negative remarks and brushed them off, telling his 16.1 million fans that the best thing to do is ignore the haters:

"Lol just seen on twitter people think I'm fat? Now I've never been called that before nice, on my way to McDonalds then I'm off to fat camp [...] I'm so fat that when I twerk I become a wrecking ball."

Payne, meanwhile, also recently told British newspaper The Mirror that he's looking forward to Cheryl Cole's 'X Factor' return because she doesn't stand for Simon Cowell's nonsense and is a strong judge: "Yeah, she’s not afraid of him at all, obviously some people are too scared to say what they think around him on the show and she’s, like, – ‘No you’ve brought me in to do a job and I’m going to do it'.”
