'Story Of My Life' heartthrobs One Direction have delighted fans around the world this morning (May 19) by announcing details of a brand new tour for next year that will take them to different parts of the globe.

The On The Road Again tour will see the lads perform in Australia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.

Despite only being officially revealed in the past few minutes, the tour is already in the Top 10 worldwide trending topics list on Twitter. While fans seem to be very excited about the news, there are numerous mentions of disappointment because the boyband won't be visiting New Zealand or India on the jaunt. 

One Direction are currently on their Where We Are tour, which is set to resume on May 23 at Dublin's Croke Park in Ireland, and singer Niall Horan recently admitted that he can't wait to play a home show: 

"I would like to say thank you to all the South American fans! We honestly had a fantastic time down there! Some beautiful countries. Love you lots! Great way to start the 'where we are' tour! Next stop my home show! Can't believe I'm saying this! 'Croke park' baby!"
