1D's Louis Tomlinson: 'The longer we're in the band, the more control we have over everything'

Heartthrob Louis Tomlinson, of One Direction fame, has revealed that his boyband do have a significant amount of control over their career together and aren't just industry or label bosses' puppets.

During an interview with Top Of The Pops magazine, the 'Story Of My Life' superstar admitted that the longer they've been in One Direction, the more say they have and the more creative control they're allowed.

Tomlinson explained to the publication: "I think the biggest misconception is that nobody expects us to have any control over anything we do – but actually, it’s the exact opposite."

Earlier this month, his bandmate Harry Styles confessed that although 1D has managed to achieve a lot together they still have so many things they want to do: "We by no means think we’ve done it all and think we haven’t got anything left to do. I think we’ve got so much that we still want to do and a lot of things we still want to achieve. And get better and better as performer and as singers.”
