Louis Tomlinson's father thinks fame has changed the singer

Louis Tomlinson's dad believes the singer isn't the same as he used to be after becoming famous.

Troy Austin, who split from his wife Johanna when Louis was aged two, told the Mirror that he feels the singer has changed his behaviour over the last few years.

Speaking after a video of Tomlinson and Zayn Malik appeared online of the duo apparently smoking a joint, Austin said:

"He said he would never get a tattoo because it was a scar and he would never smoke because it would damage his vocal cords. He’s gone the opposite way and I hope it doesn’t get worse.

"I do believe that being that famous will be taking its toll on them. I think everyone is concerned it could lead to other things."

Austin appeared to blame One Direction's team - headed by Modest Management - for some of the band's changes. He said:

"He’s a different person to that person three years ago. Where are his management? As far as I know they have the best management that money can buy and those people should be protecting them from things like this."
