One Direction star Zayn Malik has admitted that it is hard for him and Perrie Edwards to do "normal things" together.

The celebrity duo got engaged in 2013 and they seem to be going strong.

Speaking to Top of the Pops magazine, however, Malik said that it is difficult for the couple to be a normal couple due to the levels of interest in them.

When asked what his perfect date would be, the singer said:

"It’s very hard to just do normal things now and I’d love nothing more than to watch a film, go bowling and then have a nice meal somewhere after. Literally just sitting and chatting – just normal stuff. It would be amazing to be able to do that."
