One Direction star Niall Horan has hit the studio with singer-songwriter Jamie Scott.

The British musician supported the group on Wednesday (August 27) in St. Louis as One Direction continue their North American stadium tour.

It seems Irishman Horan has struck up a musical bond with Scott, who previously helped write One Direction material such as 'Story of My Life'.

The Brit took to Twitter to post a photo of himself with Horan, adding:

"Me and @NiallOfficial recording some vocals before the show tonight!"

Scott meanwhile has also previously written for the likes of Little Mix, The Vamps and Christina Perri.
