Niall Horan has likened being on tour to living in a "fishbowl".

The singer made the claim on Wednesday (September 24) whilst on One Direction's North American Where We Are tour.

The group played in Tulsa on Tuesday (September 23) and it seems fans crowded around the band's hotel so much that the quintet were unable to get outside.

Horan said: "Looks like I won't be gettin out of this hotel then Hahahaha! Feels like a fishbowl!"

The Irishman meanwhile revealed last year that he doesn't like people crowding around him:

"I'm quite claustrophobic and I don't like everyone crowding around and shouting the same questions. I get a little bit scared sometimes. It's all good as we've got a good security team."
