One Direction singer Harry Styles has commented on his recent public vomiting incident.

The singer was snapped in California earlier this month throwing up on the side of the road after going out to a party held by Lily Allen.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1's Scott Mills in an interview aired today (October 29), Styles said that he had been on a "hike" and was left feeling unwell.

As previously reported, a shrine was set up by fans at the side of the road to commemorate the vomiting.

Speaking meanwhile about how they decide to follow people on Twitter, Zayn Malik said:

"It's kind of just random. Sometimes it's a bit unfair because if somebody's drawn a really good piece of art, that catches your eye."
