Louis Tomlinson: 'It's so great to be home as we get to live normal lives for a while'

Louis Tomlinson, of One Direction fame, has revealed that while fame definitely has its upsides, they're always happy to spend down time hanging out with friends and chilling at their family homes

During an interview with ITV's 'Loose Women', the heartthrob admitted that being able to return home after tours or promo runs is always fantastic and they really enjoy getting to do 'normal' things with their families and loved ones:

"It's always great to be home, we do normal stuff, I take the dogs for a walk. It's not a conscious decision really (not to see each other) it's just when we've got two weeks off it's so little time to fit everyone else in. So we spend our time seeing our family, seeing our friends, and sitting at home relaxing and doing nothing."

Earlier this week, member Liam Payne told Free Radio that when he's home he likes to visit his old school and confessed that he would like to give an inspiring talk to current pupils at some point

"I always go back to my old house and where I went to school, I sometimes go back there. They asked me to do an assembly actually, but that makes me nervous. I'd love to do an assembly for the school - I'd love to tell the kids something. I do find that in some places sometimes people don't believe you can do something like this or a job you dream about doing."
