One Direction picked up one award at this year's ARIAs.

The Australian music awards ceremony was held on Wednesday (November 26) in Sydney.

One Direction won the Best International Act award for their 2013 album 'Midnight Memories'.

The group also performed their latest single 'Steal My Girl' at the ceremony.

Niall Horan tweeted after the show: "Just won an ARIA! Yes bruu! Thank you to all the Aussie fans for voting for us! Love you!"

Other winners on the night included Aussies 5 Seconds of Summer (Song of the Year), Iggy Azalea (Breakthrough Artist) and Sia (Best Pop Release).
