One Direction's Louis Tomlinson is a patron of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and the organisation has just revealed that his boyband's fans have helped raise a staggering amount of money. 

Bluebell Wood, which cares for children and young adults with a shortened life expectancy, shared a tweet about the amazing news this evening and explained that it's an incredible figure that will go a long way and is a great way to celebrate the heartthrob's birthday tomorrow (December 24):

"Thanks to @Louis_Tomlinson's fans who have raised $23k for us, marking Louis' 23rd tomorrow. We are so grateful."

The superstar himself then posted a message on the social media site and thanked his fans for being so caring and involved: "Just heard about the money raised by our incredible fans for @BluebellWoodCH. We've just run out of superlatives for you guys. We LOVE you!"
