One Direction rep denies Niall Horan will leave band

A spokesperson for One Direction has moved to clarify rumours about Niall Horan's future in the group.

The Irishman's position in the boyband came under scrutiny recently when some music news Twitter accounts posted that he was leaving One Direction.

They later said that they were hacked and that the story wasn't true.

A rep for the 'Night Changes' quintet has now told Billboard that there is indeed "no truth" to the gossip.

The future of One Direction has regularly been called into question following the release of their fourth album 'FOUR' in November.

However, the group are scheduled to tour the world next year in promotion of the record.
