Irish One Direction Niall Horan has confessed that he will be cooking up a storm later (January 8) as he enjoys some down time before the lads head back out on tour. 

The star, who has previously spoken out about his love of being hands-on in the kitchen, shared a tweet with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and admitted that even he would be impressed by the skills he has been displaying lately:

"@JamieOliver you would be proud of me, if ya seen what's goin' on in my house tonight mate."

Back in October, Horan told BBC Radio 2 that he takes a lot of tips from Jamie Oliver's televised cooking shoes and loves to make beef-burgers: "I've been getting into my cookery! I've been watching Jamie Oliver's 'Comfort Foods' so I've been making a lot of burgers." 

It was revealed earlier this week that One Direction are the most popular act when it comes to music memorabilia sold on eBay after 142,000 items related to the boyband were snapped up on the UK auction website in the last three months.
