Liam Payne's cousin will appear on The Voice this weekend.

The relative of the One Direction man has auditioned for the UK TV talent show, which features Rita Ora as a coach.

Ross Harris will run through Usher's 2014 track 'Good Kisser' on the BBC One programme on Saturday (January 31).

He already has form in the industry as a session musician, with Harris having played drums with the likes of Ella Henderson and Union J.

Harris commented: "It's a little bit of a risk putting my voice out there.

"I often think what it would be like to be them at the front rather than me at the back."

Last year's winner of The Voice meanwhile was Jermain Jackman.
