One Direction have starred in an a cappella version of Queen's 'We Are The Champions'.

A number of big names appeared in a video clip singing along to the iconic track for Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

The recording features the talk show host and The Roots providing the basis of the song.

One Direction, Ariana Grande, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor all provide vocal cameos.

They are joined by Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton on the all-star a cappella cover.

The video was shown during the Tonight Show's Super Bowl special on Sunday (February 1).
