One Direction and 'You and I' director Ben Winston 'delighted' at BRITs win for British Video

The 2015 BRIT Awards took place in London last night at the O2 Arena and One Direction picked up the British Artist Video prize for their visual offering, 'You and I'. 

Niall Horan took to his official Twitter page this morning (February 26) and admitted that he's over the moon now that the amazing news has been announced: "Yesssssssss!!! Get in! Thank you guys so much! Incredible news to wake up to! Best video at the Brits! Thank you @benwinston!"

Ben Winston also shared a post about the BRITs success, writing: "Huge love and thanks - so excited to win the brit. Massive love to @CarlyShackleton @Heatherpops @Dwdsoutar and team. I love @onedirection. So delighted re brit. Massive thanks to Ed Rutherford our DoP & all the @envypost team especially Eileen for all their painstaking work!"

Heartthrob Harry Styles also celebrated the win and tweeted: "Thank you so much for voting.. You're all legends. Thank you to the @BRITAwards for having us too. Hope everyone had a good night."

Other videos up for the BRITs category included Calvin Harris - 'Summer' Ed Sheeran, 'Thinking Out Loud' Mark Ronson Ft. Bruno Mars - 'Uptown Funk', and Sam Smith - 'Stay With Me'. Simon Cowell accepted the trophy on the lads' behalf as they're currently in Japan on tour.
