One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik has hit out at cheating reports that surfaced this week after photos of him posing with a fan at a club in Phuket circulated online. 

The images, which can be seen below, seem to show the superstar with his arm around a fan and then again standing with her in a street. As soon as the pictures hit the web, people began speculating about them and Malik has now taken to his official Twitter page to set the record straight.

The 'Story Of My Life' sensation, who is engaged to Little Mix beauty Perrie Edwards, wrote: "I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f**ks in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like."

Edwards, meanwhile, recently spoke out about her relationship with fiancé Malik and told reporters that he is very supportive: "Finding a time when we’re both off, we’re both free, is difficult. And they (both Malik and Jesy Nelson's boyfriend, Rixton's Jake Roche) want us to do well, as well. They want us to succeed and they’re so positive about everything and give us advice. It’s really sweet."
