One Direction win big at Kids' Choice Awards

One Direction were given something to cheer about at this year's Kids' Choice Awards.

The pop group have suffered a tense last week following the departure of singer Zayn Malik.

However, they scooped two gongs at this weekend's Kids' Choice Awards.

The boyband were named Favourite Music Group, whilst they also bagged the UK Favourite Music Act gong.

Their devotees also won the UK Favourite Fan Family prize.

Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez won their respective Male and Female Singer awards, whilst Jessie J's 'Bang Bang' was named Favourite Song of the Year.

Fifth Harmony meanwhile landed the Favourite New Artist accolade.

The ceremony will air in the UK on Nickelodeon tonight (March 30) before being broadcast on Channel 5 on April 5.
