One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne has revealed that if he wasn't a member of the boyband he knows what career path he would have taken. 

Speaking to Britain's Capital FM radio earlier today, the superstar admitted that he always wanted to be a pool cleaner: "It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. You get to use the net and fish out the little leaves at the bottom of the pool, you can listen to your iPod while you're working."

The 'Story Of My Life' superstars, meanwhile, have just been confirmed to perform at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball, which is due to take place at London's Wembley Stadium on June 6.

Following Payne's revelation of his rather ordinary career aspirations, the 1D fandom took to Photoshop and made a series of amusing images that show what the hitmaker would look like in his dream role (pictured below).
