1D on Zayn's solo parts: 'It would be devastating to remove those songs'

Singer Harry Styles has revealed that One Direction won't be removing songs that heavily featured the impressive vocal abilities of former member Zayn Malik from their setlist.

The band are currently on their On The Road Again tour and the heartthrob revealed that it would be such a shame to remove songs from their repertoire just because Malik used to perform the higher notes so instead they're just reassigning appropriate parts.

Styles told Entertainment Weekly: "It would be pretty devastating if we took that song out. Liam [Payne] stepped up to do the high notes. He kicks them in the bollocks every show. He doesn’t hold back. The fans have shown, as they have a million times, that they’re incredible and so supportive."

1D will resume their extensive jaunt with a concert on Thursday, July 9 at the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California before travelling across the whole of North America and Canada. This tour will end on October 31 at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, England.
