One Direction's Harry Styles sheds a little light about 'Perfect' lyrics

Boyband One Direction debuted their new single 'Perfect' earlier today (October 16) and member Harry Styles has shed a little light on the song's much talked about lyrics.

Fans of the band have been speculating that it was written about Styles's relationship with songstress Taylor Swift and he has now revealed to Australian DJ Smallzy that people can think what they like because it's open to interpretation:

"People take songs and three different people can think that it means three completely different things, so to be honest it translates to whoever just based on… what they take from it."

In the cut, the lads sing: "If you like when I'm driving with the windows down / If you like going places we can't even pronounce / If you like to do whatever you've been dreaming about / Baby you're perfect."

Another lyric from 'Perfect' that could possibly relate to Styles and Swift's romance is: “If you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about / baby I'm perfect, baby we're perfect."
