Singer Louis Tomlinson has revealed that he and the other One Direction lads will finally get to enjoy quality time with their respective families this Christmas.

The band will go on hiatus next year and they'll kick off their well-deserved break with some family time over the festive period:

"I think the most important thing is we'll just be making sure we spend time with our families. Because we've not seen enough of them over the last five years so that will be important and that will be nice. Especially at Christmas time as well."

Liam Payne also recently told 'Loose Women' that it's nice to finally enjoy a stretch of time where they have no other commitments:

"We've literally had our lives planned out for the last five years. Of what you're doing the next day and the day after that - and the next year almost... (It will be great) to be able to get up and say, 'What do I want to do today?'"
