One Direction star Harry Styles tweeted lyrics from ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift to celebrate his birthday.

The singer turned 22 on Monday (February 1).

He marked the milestone on Twitter by referring to lyrics penned by his former flame Swift, suggesting that things may have patched up between the pair.

Styles wrote: "I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22."

The post has been retweeted over half a million times since it went online.

Styles and Swift dated for a few months from the end of 2014.

The '1989' star has since reportedly penned the track 'Style' about the One Direction man.
