Louis Tomlinson's grandad on 1D hiatus: 'They will come back'

Louis Tomlinson's grandad, Len (pictured left),  has spoken to ITV Calendar about One Direction's break.

He spoke to the programme from his home in Doncaster after visiting his new great-grandson, Freddie, in L.A.

He said: "They will come back. Even if it's only to make a lot more money."

Len visited Freddie last weekend, together with Tomlinson's mother, Johannah Deakin, his step-dad, Dan, and their children, Doris and Ernest, who are two-years-old.

Len also told ITV Calendar last night (April 5) that his grandson is learning how to be a dad.

He said: "He's learning very quickly to be a dad. I mean Louis wants to be a great dad and he is a great dad and will be a better dad. But it's all a new learning curve for him.

"I see him changing Freddie and feeding Freddie, like we all do and all have done. But it's a new phenomenon for Louis and he's learning very quickly on his feet.

"I mean the baby's very young, he's only two months old. So there's no real baby stories, apart from agaga agoogoo."
