Boyband One Direction may be on hiatus at the moment, but they will make an animated appearance on an upcoming new episode of Family Guy. 

A tweet was shared from the band's official Twitter page this evening (May 9) that explains how fans will be able to see the episode: "USA! 1D are going to be part of @FamilyGuyonFOX on Sunday, May 15 at 9:00pm ET/PT. You don’t want to miss this one."

The lads' animated doppelgängers, which can be seen below, are great although Harry Styles's cartoon still has long hair. Styles recently confirmed that his lustrous locks are no more as he cut his hair and donated it to a fantastic children's charity called the Little Princess Trust. Read more about the cut here.
