Louis Tomlinson to target Niall Horan's dodgy knee in Soccer Aid game

Louis Tomlinson has joked that he hopes to injure Niall Horan's knee when they come face-to-face in this year's Soccer Aid match.

The One Direction stars will be on opposing sides for this year's Unicef game, which is taking place at Manchester's Old Trafford stadium on Sunday (June 5).

Horan previously had surgery on a long-standing knee problem and Louis Tomlinson quipped to The Sun that his bandmate will get hurt.

He said: "He has got a bit of a twinge so he'll be walking off injured on Sunday. Don't tell the insurers!"

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Horan said: "At some stage, knowing Louis plays, we will bump into each other, so he said he's going to go for my knee.

"He said 'watch that knee', so I will. I will be staying away from anyone who goes near me for a tackle."

Horan is due to play in the charity game, which will feature the likes of Olly Murs and Marvin Humes alongside ex-pros, for 15-20 minutes.
