Niall Horan: 'I want to give my fans their money's worth'

Niall Horan says the experience of his fans will always be his number one priority when performing live and releasing music.

The singer told Spotify that he is keen to give his audience an immersive, full-band sound when he takes his solo career out on the road. The Irishman said:

"I always feel more comfortable with the guitar in my hand. I don't know what it is but even when I'm watching the TV, I have the guitar in my hand. It just feels right.

"By the last tour we did, the last stadium tour, I ended up playing in 20 or 24 songs. I was basically part of the band; I had the whole microphone [headset] thing and I'm really looking forward to putting the band together, the whole idea of rehearsing, focusing on the guitar and how the band sounds. If people are spending the money to come watch you, you want to give them your money's worth. And I stick by that and I always will."

Horan unveiled his post-One Direction solo career in September with his debut single 'This Town'. The song reached No.9 on the UK singles chart.
