One Direction reveal heady aspirations

Popular boyband One Direction are desperate to launch a new range of merchandise for their fans.

The lads, who were turned into dolls back in November 2011, want to build on this idea and create a set of "nodding dolls" that could be displayed in their followers' cars. Louis Tomlinson told the Daily Star:

"We would like figurines like the TV ad Churchill dog. That is the future. We want to be nodding dolls in the back of people's cars."

They are currently in Los Angeles to film their cameo on teen sitcom iCarly and are due to begin a tour of the U.S. in support of Big Time Rush next month. Band member Niall Horan told his fans on Twitter that the two groups recently met and expect to have a great time on the road together:

"Great to meet the big time rush guys yesterday, really cool guys..tour is gona be fun!"
