One Direction's Harry Styles opens up on "unbelievable" North American fans

One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has opened up on the band's success in North America, calling the support they have received as "unbelievable".

The band is the subject of an in-depth feature in today's Sun newspaper, and Styles spoke of the lengths some North American fans have been going to in attempt to meet their idols.

The quintet had previously inadvertently caused the closure of a street in Toronto, Canada as fans flocked to see them outside a TV studio.

And Styles revealed that there has been one fan in the US that has gone to the lengths of visiting every hotel they have been to in the attempt to "lure" them out. He said:

"To come over here and see that so many people know all the songs on an album that isn't even out yet is unbelievable. Not many people get to do what we do in England, so for us to come over here and be able to perform to crowds like this is amazing and humbling. There is one girl who constantly messages us on Twitter. She has been at every hotel we have been to in America so far, trying to lure us on a night out."
