One Direction have been turned into a bunch of cartoon super heroes.

The pop group have been immortalised in animation form on the 18 minute long 'The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction'.

The episode however isn't an official release - it has been made as fan fiction by an animator in the US.

The story has Simon Cowell making an appearance and even sees Harry Styles try his luck with older women.

The real One Direction meanwhile have been busy discussing who they would want to play them in a film.

Harry Styles plumped for Orlando Bloom whilst Zayn Malik somewhat strangely picked his bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
