One Direction's Niall Horan reflects on "nuts" North American tour

One Direction maestro Niall Horan has reflected on his band's debut headline North American tour.

The British boyband have been over the pond for some time now as they build on their initial stateside success, with the tour ending soon.

Speaking to MTV, Horan said that the jaunt has been "absolutely nuts" and admitted the quintet are still struggling to believe what is going on. He said:

"It's been, as you can see clearly, absolutely nuts. We're still trying to get our head around it."

Horan meanwhile recalled a moment on the tour when he and bandmate Liam Payne were surrounded by a mob of fans in New York. He said:

"It's been crazy, we've had a lot of fun. When we were in New York we were on our day off and me and Liam was going down the street with one of our security guards and we got absolutely mobbed by like 600 people in Times Square. I thought, 'There is literally not one place I can walk down the street'."
