One Direction thank fans as North American tour comes to an end

One Direction have taken to Twitter to thank fans for their support after their first ever headline North American tour came to an end.

The British quintet have been out in North America for some time now as they look to maintain their popularity across the pond.

The tour has now come to an end, with some of the band's members taking to Twitter to thank their fans for their support. Niall Horan tweeted:

"Wow ft,lauderdale! Great way to finish our 1st headline US tour! #upallnight tour is done! Long 6 months but amazing! Thank you all soo much. As i said , its been a crazy couple of years! Soo much has happened to us! And its all thanks to you guys, our amazing fans! We love you! Xx."

Horan's bandmate Harry Styles meanwhile said: "Last show of the tour tonight... Thanks to an amazing crew, and everyone involved for making it what it was. Tonight will be fun..."

Louis Tomlinson added: "Guys it been an amazing tour. Wow thank you so much to everyone! We love you! X."
