One Direction's publicist has denied reports circulating in the tabloid press that Harry Styles has been studying a self-help book on how to seduce women.

The Mirror reported today (July 10) that Styles has become an avid reader of 'The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists', which aims to help men achieve more popularity with the female race.

It is said to feature sections such as 'Select The Target', 'Isolate The Target' and 'Extract Target to Seduction Location'.

However, One Direction's UK publicist Hackford Jones PR tweeted that the story is "completely untrue". They said:

"Note to media, the story today about Harry Styles reading dating 'self help' book The Game is completely untrue. He has never read the book."
