One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson took to social networking site Twitter earlier today (July 16) to share birthday wishes for his girlfriend.

'Happy Birthday Eleanor' has been in and out of Twitter's top ten worldwide trending topics all day and he wrote a public message to her in the early hours of this morning that read:

"A very happy birthday to my lovely girlfriend @eleanorjcalder. Love you lots and lots #happybirthdayeleanor"

Although Tomlinson didn't reveal what he bought her for the occasion, he did share a photograph with his 4.5 million followers of the specially designed cake he had made for her birthday (pictured below).

The cake itself appears to be modelled on Sleeping Beauty's castle from Disneyland Resort Paris and even features a fondant likeness of both Calder and Tomlinson, with Calder wearing an iconic set of Mickey Mouse ears. The message iced onto the cake reads: "Happy Birthday Eleanor, lots of love, Louis :) x"

He accompanied the shot of the stunning cake with the caption: "This is actually the most amazing cake I have ever seen!! Highly recommend, thank you soooo much !! @TheCakeStoreUK. Again thank you so much."
