Brother of Niall Horan says One Direction star will remain grounded

The brother of Niall Horan has revealed he believes that the One Direction star will remain grounded.

Older sibling Greg told the Irish Sun that despite the band’s massive success, the 18-year-old has yet to follow in the footsteps of his band-mates by splashing out on extravagant things:

“He is very independent and will do what he wants at the end of the day, but I can’t see him ever losing the run of himself.

“He’s not going to go out and blow all his money and I’m sure when he sees a house he wants he will buy it.

“When Niall is back home, he is just Niall and there’s not much talk about the band. He still has the same friends and wants to go to the same places, and we still treat him the same.”

The Irish heart-throb has recently been linked with several high-profile stars including Demi Lovato, but Greg claims that his brother doesn’t have time for a love interest at the moment:

“He’s still single and I don’t think having a girlfriend is for him at the minute — just because he is so busy.”
