One Direction star Liam Payne has revealed his excitement over his band's forthcoming new album.

The pop group are currently working on the follow-up to their 2011 debut album 'Up All Night' and it seems anticipation among fans is reaching fever pitch.

However, it seems the excitement is reaching the band too, with Liam Payne tweeting that he can't wait for the record to be unleashed. He said:

"I cant waaaiittt for the new album to come outttt!!! Exxccciitteedddd."

Payne meanwhile earlier had conversed with a fan about his superhero character - should he ever become one. He said:

"[I would be called] payney and my slogan would be " i bring on the pppaaiiinnn " :)."
