One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne has taken to social networking site Twitter to clear up rumours that suggest he is about to get married.

Reports have been surfacing this week about the serious nature of Payne's relationship with girlfriend Danielle Peazer, but the 'One Thing' hitmaker reassured his fans that he isn't going to walk down the aisle just yet despite constant media speculation:

"I'm not getting married the sun newspaper can't seem to wait for me to get married Gordon no need to rush wen I am I'll send u an invite ;) Looonnggg dayy"

Back in July, Payne whisked his lady off to Venice for a short holiday and shared photos from the romantic vacation with his followers.

The lads have kicked off the month of August in a big way, scoring 2 nominations in this year's MTV Video Music Awards and the members have been encouraging Directioners to vote for them to win.
