The One Direction lads might not be on tour at the moment, but that doesn't mean their work load has slowed down.

Earlier today (August 20), the group posted a message from their official Twitter page to let their fans know that they were spending the day doing "promo", and uploaded a photo of themselves sat in chairs ready to be interviewed.

Member Harry Styles shared a photo from a shoot, although he didn't specify what it was for, that showed his bandmate Liam Payne relaxing on the arm of a sofa.

He accompanied the picture (shown below) with the caption: "Good shoot today.. Long but nearly finished. Last shot..but heres Liam." Meanwhile, 'One Thing' singer Louis Tomlinson joked that he was surprised he kept his energy levels up enough to deal with the demands of the day, writing: "Surprised I got through today. Had a great night last night!"

It was also confirmed this afternoon that One Direction will perform at Radio 1's Teen Awards, which will take place on October 7.
